Amazing Cafe Restaurant in Evandale, Tasmania. The restaurant decorations are beautiful and diverse- from ceramic plates on the wall, deer statue and stained glass. It’s a huge place! Food is good too - Big Breakfast and the Croque are enjoyable too.

My husband and my flight was delayed so we popped into the Clarendon arms for dinner. It’s 5 minutes from Launceston airport in a super cute village. The village and the pub reminded me so much of England (where in from) and I loved that! The service was sooooo good and they were very happy to accommodate our limited time. We both had the lamb cutlets and were so impressed. The quality of the food for the price was top notch!

Visited for evening dinner 3 courses with a group. Great atmosphere and really reminds us of the Cotswolds. Food was really good and they had a good selection for both adults and kids. Went on a rainy and cold day and what would have made it a little more atmospheric would be the fireplace lit. Tables are a little tight together and not pram friendly with a few steps in the main dining room. Staff had trouble getting to diners with thier food and drinks but if it was a nice day there would have been plenty of room outside. Will definitely be back for afternoon drinks outside in the beer garden. Very family friendly outside.

A delicious breakfast, enjoyed in an absolutely charming setting! Each room had a cozy ambiance, and we were fortunate enough to be seated right by the fire. Perfection! Our meals were excellent, from the french toast to the "big breakfast" to the smashed avo. Portions were generous and nicely presented. The servers were pleasant and engaging, and we felt warmly welcomed and well cared for--without being hovered over. So glad we visited Evandale and the Clarendon Arms! Highly recommend.

What a top spot for lunch! The food was beautifully prepared and presented. We had the Tasmanian salmon and Ploughman’s plate. The wait staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Meals were served in this busy restaurant in a timely manner. The ambiance added measurably to the delightful setting- cosy fire, rural flavour with deer and ram on walls in intimate village setting. Good value for money.
